District-wide renovations to Dryden Central Schools got the go-ahead from voters, allowing the district to proceed with nearly $39 million in improvements across multiple district buildings. Campus began working with Dryden schools in 2003. This is our second project with the District.
Phase I of the District's $57.8 million in renovations has kicked off with additions and renovations to the Middle/High School complex. Highlights include a new Technology addition, Athletic Complex, full bus loop/drop-off/parking reconstruction, and primary electric service replacement. Renovations will also include science, music, auditorium, gymnasium, and nursing/guidance office improvements.
Completion of the new auditorium and surrounding area is rounding out the District's $55.9 million project this summer. Phase III renovations are coming up next, with construction scheduled to begin next summer.
Voters showed support for school improvements by approving capital project referendums last night in Pittsford CSD, Churchville-Chili CSD, and Hilton CSD.
Pittsford CSD voters approved renovations in two separate propositions. The first allows the district to move forward with $35.6 million in district-wide renovations at no additional cost to tax payers. The second proposition will fund $7.6 million in upgrades to the distsrict's athletic fields, including synthetic turf, lighting, and track resurfacing, at a marginal cost to taxpayers of $4.99 per year over the next 15 years.
