Campus Construction Management Group Readies Schools to Open On Schedule

Pittsford, New York (August 30, 2011) – Students’ last week of summer vacation is Campus Construction Management Group’s last big push to wrap up major construction in time for the first week of school.

Campus CMG’s Rochester-area K-12 clients wrapping up major renovations this week include Churchville-Chili CSD, East Rochester UFSD, Hilton CSD, Honeoye Falls-Lima CSD, Penfield CSD, Spencerport CSD, and Webster CSD. Campus CMG, the construction manager for each of the seven districts, is a local employee-owned firm that specializes in providing construction management services to K-12 school districts. Recently, Campus was also selected by the Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board to provide construction management services for the Rochester Schools Modernization Program.

Notable K-12 construction work managed by Campus this summer has included:

Churchville-Chili CSD (part of $55.9 million capital project now underway): Two-classroom addition, 15 renovated classrooms, locker-room and bathroom renovations at the high school; 2 classroom/link corridor addition at the middle school, central office renovations, and parking lot / roadway / bus loop renovations.

East Rochester UFSD: New East Avenue parking lot.

Hilton CSD: Middle school pool renovations, chiller pipe line, ropes course replacement poles

Honeoye Falls-Lima CSD (part of $32.3 million capital project now underway): Team room addition, tech lab renovations, new student drop-off and parking areas, and athletic field improvements at the high school; gymnasium renovations, HVAC and generator upgrades, library renovations, playground relocation, and parking/bus loop upgrades at Lima Primary.

Penfield CSD: Complete window replacement at Bay Trail middle school

Spencerport CSD: New generators at each school, elevator repairs, new security cameras, locker replacements/restorations, and athletic storage building addition at the high school.

Webster CSD (part of $10.5 million capital project now underway): New turf field stadiums at Thomas and Schroeder high schools, flooring renovations at Jefferson Road Elementary School.
