Pittsford, Hilton, Churchville-Chili Capital Projects Approved
Voters showed support for school improvements by approving capital project referendums last night in Pittsford CSD, Churchville-Chili CSD, and Hilton CSD.
Pittsford CSD voters approved renovations in two separate propositions. The first allows the district to move forward with $35.6 million in district-wide renovations at no additional cost to tax payers. The second proposition will fund $7.6 million in upgrades to the distsrict's athletic fields, including synthetic turf, lighting, and track resurfacing, at a marginal cost to taxpayers of $4.99 per year over the next 15 years.
Churchville-Chili CSD residents approved $9.9 million in renovations to its Chestnut Ridge and Churchville Elementary Schools, launching its district-wide renovations plan into Phase III. The project will have no tax impact on residents.
In Hilton, voters approved $19.5 million in capital improvements that will not affect the local tax share.
