As published in the February 2010 issue of Pembroke CSD's "Dragon Tales" newsletter — The Capital Construction Project offers a great educational opportunity for the entire faculty, staff and students at Pembroke CSD. Campus Construction Management recently provided the students at the Intermediate Building with classroom presentations and a tour of the current construction activities throughout the building. The presentations were broken up into 17 group sessions based on grade level and class size. The students were given a broad overview of construction and key jobs within the industry. In addition, building improvements specific to the Intermediate School were described and then a guided tour was provided so the students could see the construction process.
