Campus CMG Connects with Districts at NYSCOSS, NYSSBA and SFMI Events
Hundreds attend seminars and exhibitor showcases in Rochester, New York City, and Saratoga Springs.
October has been a busy month for K-12 school officials -- and for Campus CMG staff.
Superintendents from througout New York State recently came to Campus CMG's hometown in Rochester to attend the 2009 NYSCOSS Fall Leadership Summit. This season's event focused on leadership building, as well as recent legal trends and their impact on public schools. Campus CMG sponsored the event as a Signature Partner.
Elsewhere in the state, nearly 300 Superintendents of Buildings and Grounds ventured to Saratoga Springs for the SBGA & SFMI Professional Development Conference. Campus CMG was a Bronze Sponsor for the event. Scott Bulriss, a Senior Project Manager for Campus CMG, attended the conference as an exhibitor. At the event, conference goers attended workshops and a special symposium that focused on new ways to cope with financial hurdles ranging from energy consumption to construction needs. "By attending this event, school facilities professionals throughout New York State are now better prepared to manage this economic crisis and brought cost-saving measures back to their local district," stated SBGA President Chris Ouderkirk, CDF.
Campus CMG executives also met with dozens of school board members from throughout the state this month at the NYSSBA 90th Annual Convention & Trade Show in New York City. “NYSSBA’s annual convention is an important event that allows us to connect with School Board members in person and strengthen our client relationships. We’re able to gain deeper insight into the critical issues that Board Members face, and enrich our services to address their specific challenges," says Sexton. "The networking opportunities and industry exposure that NYSSBA provides have helped Campus Construction Management Group roll out its new company name and become recognized as one of the largest K-12 Construction Management firms in New York State. No matter where it’s held, the annual NYSSBA convention is always well worth the trip.”
