Lyndonville Central School District kicked off the new year with an indoor “groundbreaking” by tearing down walls and pulling up carpet to make way for new classrooms. The event kicks off Phase II of the district’s $10.7 million capital improvement project, which is anticipated to reach substantial completion in November 2019.

Major scope items in this project also include:

• Classroom renovations: addition of two new classrooms above existing library media center
• Site work: parking lot expansion, featuring improved parent drop-off/pickup configuration
• Kitchen and cafeteria modernization
• Indoor athletics: locker room upgrades
• HVAC: district-wide air conditioning installation
• Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing: improvements identified in 2015 Building Condition Survey

 Campus CMG Vice President Kevin Donaghue and Project Manager Madalyn Murphy joined Lyndonville CSD Superintendent Jason Smith, Board of Education President Ted Lewis, student representatives, and project team members for the groundbreaking ceremony.
