Campus Construction Management Group Readies Schools to Open On Schedule

Pittsford, New York (August 30, 2011) – Students’ last week of summer vacation is Campus Construction Management Group’s last big push to wrap up major construction in time for the first week of school.

Wellsville CSD Unveils New Bus Maintenance Facility

Wellsville CSD recently unveiled its brand new Bus Maintenance Facility. The District's existing bus garage was razed in January 2010 to make way for the new and improved facility.

The newly constructed 26,622 sf facility features two maintenance bays with hydraulic bus lifts, storage for 18 buses, a bus wash with reclamation, fluid storage, driver's training room, and offices. The building was turned over for District use on December 22, 2010.

Robert Brown School of Construction and Design Debuts

According to national and local research, the construction trades are experiencing a shortage of skilled workers — a problem that may continue to escalate since many of the industry's skilled workers are nearing retirement and fewer young people are pursuing careers in the construction trades. UNICON and the Rochester City School District recently made strides to train local students for construction careers with the debut of the Robert Brown School of Construction and Design.
