This award-winning project featured a new 2-story addition, a climate-controlled connection corridor to Mason Hall, and major renovations to existing program spaces. It allowed for the redistribution and consolidation of academic departments and increased utilization of the existing building for all professional performing arts programs.

2-story Addition (40,000 sf):

  • 1st floor: paint shop, ceramic studios, kiln rooms, sculpture studios, welding shop/foundry, café/lobby, multipurpose classroom
  • 2nd floor: dance and acting studios
  • Connector link to Mason Hall
  • Associated site improvements

Renovations to Existing Building:

  • Repurposed approx. 20,000 sf of program spaces to drafting studios, drawing studios & computer labs
  • Renovations to scene shop, costume shop & dressing rooms
  • Marvel Theatre lobby renovations
  • HVAC & mechanical system renovations/upgrades
