Romulus, Canton Pass Capital Project Votes

Campus is pleased to congratulate two of our pre-referendum clients on their recent capital project votes:

Romulus CSD: Boiler replacements top the list of $6.75 million in voter-approved renovations for Romulus CSD. The boiler replacements require natural gas lines for the school which, as an added benefit to the community, will also be made available to residents within the Hamlet of Romulus. The no-tax-impact project will also include MEP upgrades, roofing, ADA compliance upgrades, and renovations to the auditorium and cafeteria.

Canton CSD: Heating system upgrades also topped Canton CSD’s list of proposed improvements. The District put $15 million in renovations and repairs before voters in two propositions — both were approved. In addition to heating and ventilation system replacement, Proposition 1 included fire safety upgrades, and bus loop repaving. Proposition 2 — contingent on the approval of Proposition 1 — allows for significant classroom renovations at the middle school, a campus-wide security system, track replacement, and athletic field repairs.
